Located in scenic Savannah and on-base at Hunter Army Airfield, Hunter AAF Homes is a residential community that offers a variety of rental homes to active duty Army families assigned to Hunter Army Airfield as well as select homes for military retirees and DOD civilian employees. Our move-in ready two, three and four bedroom homes are located in walkable neighborhoods surrounded by exciting amenities like playgrounds, basketball courts and splash parks.

The Hunter Army Airfield base serves as a training, command, control, administrative and logistics support facility for the 3rd Infantry Division from Fort Stewart. It has a 11,375-foot runway and an aircraft parking area that spans 350 acres as well as a 75,000 square foot arrival/departure facility, allowing for the swift deployment of soldiers and cargo around the world.

There are a number of military-centric communities near Hunter Army Airfield including Richmond Hill, Pooler and Midway. Some military families choose to live on-base and others opt for a nearby off-base community that is more affordable, but both locations have their pros and cons.
